CONTINUATION OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE INSPECTION COUNCIL AND EBRD
After the successful completion of the two phases of the Project – Support for Improving the Effectiveness of Inspections in the Republic of North Macedonia and after implementation of all planned activities, the third phase of cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) officially began on 14 of February 2022. Within the third phase the Project – Expansion of the support of the inspection reforms in Northern Macedonia – Development of 13 modules for expansion of the e-Inspector software, will be realized.
Realization of the following activities is envisaged within the project:
– Preparation of Cost and Benefit Analysis for hosting of the e-inspector software. The analysis should elaborate the economic and technical aspects of hosting and maintaining the e-inspector, on the basis of which the Inspection Council will choose the best and most cost-effective option for hosting the e-inspector.
– Preparation of tender documentation with technical specification for preparation of the e-Inspector modules for the 13 inspectorates.
– Development / expansion of e-Inspector software with 13 additional modules, i.e. automation of the following processes: implementation of inspection supervision, planning and IT support.
The project will cover 13 inspectorates, as follows: State Inspectorate for Agriculture, State Education Inspectorate, State Sanitary and Health Inspectorate, State Inspectorate for Forestry and Hunting, State Inspectorate for Transport, State Inspectorate for Environment, Technical inspection, State Inspectorate for Construction and Urbanism, State Communal Inspectorate, Inspectorate for the Use of Languages, State Inspectorate for Local Self-Government, State Foreign Exchange Inspectorate and the Food and Veterinary Agency.
Project duration – 18 months.
