Promotional event on development of the information system for inspection supervision, E-Inspector

On 12/12/2022, in the organization of the Inspection Council, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the selected IT company ITgma, a promotional event dedicated to the development of the information system for inspection supervision, E-Inspector, was held.
The development of an electronic system for digitalization and automation of the inspection procedure and supervision, E-inspector, represents an effective control mechanism for reducing the subjective influence of inspectors regarding the inspections supervision. The development of the E-Inspector system is at the top of the government’s agenda and is one of the basic strategic goals of the Inspection Council, as a tool in the fight against corruption and the digitalization of society.
The benefits of this system are far greater for the subjects of supervision, than for the inspectors and inspection services themselves, because it will reduce the subjective influence of the inspector, and thus the possibility of corrupt behavior. By integrating the checklists and the electronic distribution of supervisions, the inspection supervision will be much more objective, unified and without the possibility of manipulation, which will increase the legal certainty and the trust of the citizens in the overall inspection system.
The Deputy Prime Minister in charge of good governance policies, Mrs. Slavica Grkovska, the Head of North Macedonia at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Mrs. Andy Aranitasi, the President of the Inspection Council Ms. Daniela Rendevska and Mrs. Endrita Xaferaj, investment climate and management expert at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, took an active part in the event.
Mr. Stanojoski, from ITma, gave a brief introduction to the findings of the undertaken activities and details of the preparation and implementation of the GAP Analysis for the Pilot phase of development of the E-inspector information system. Then he referred to further steps of development of the 13 new modules for the 13 inspection services.
